Here is a list of all the measures we are taking to ensure the safety of both our patients and our staff.
The measures that we have put in place will enable most patients to only engage with their treating physician (only one person during their entire visit).
-
We are pre-screening all patients before they come in.
-
Any patient over 60 is advised to stay home. We will make teleconferencing or a call available to them, ensuring that they are still cared for.
-
Any patient with a compromised immune system (diabetes, COPC, undergoing chemotherapy, etc) will be strongly advised to stay home. We will make teleconferencing or a call available to them, ensuring that they are still cared for.
-
Any patient experiencing cough, shortness of breath or fever is asked to stay home.
-
Any patient who just doesn't feel good or 'right' is asked to stay home for the safety of the community.
-
Any patient who has recently traveled is asked to abstain from treatment for 2 weeks for the safety of the community. We will make teleconferencing or a call available to them, ensuring that they are still cared for.
-
NO late cancellation charges will be applied to any patient who cancels due to COVID-19
-
-
We are running with a limited staff to minimize interaction.
-
We are spreading out the treatments to minimize our patients' interaction with each other.
-
Patients are asked to only come into the office at the time of their appointment to maintain proper social distancing.
-
Only patients being treated will be allowed in the office.
-
The common areas (door handles, chairs, desk, etc) will be consistently cleaned throughout the day and at the end of each day.
-
Patients will no longer sign in to avoid contact with the staff.
-
Patients will be quickly put into their treatment room to avoid any interaction with the staff or other patients.
-
In the event that a treatment room is not ready, the lobby has been rearranged to enable easy social distancing.
-
The lobby and treatment room doors will remain open during patient transition. The treatment room doors will be closed and opened by the physician only to eliminate our patients touching the doors.
-
The treatment rooms will be thoroughly cleaned between each patient.
-
The physicians will be washing their hands thoroughly between each patient.
-
The physicians will be applying hand sanitizer before all treatments.
-
The physicians will be wearing a mask during the treatments.
-
Patients paying for their visit can choose to not sign their credit card slips (eliminating contact with the staff).
-
CCRC staff members exhibiting any symptoms will be asked to stay home.
